L’ Antica Casa Naldi sorge sulle fondamenta di una casa del XIVsecolo,  situata lungo le mura nel centro del borgo medievale di Montecarlo, paese collinare tra i più belli della lucchesia. La casa, di recente ristrutturazione, conserva ancora intatti il pavimento in cotto, i muri in pietra, i travicelli in legno e l'arredamento tradizionale.  Al piano terra la bella cucina in stile rustico, con l’antico acquaio in pietra ed il caminetto, a disposizione degli ospiti per la colazione e non solo. Dalla cucina attraverso un terrazzo si accede alle mura medievali del borgo, con il suggestivo panorama sulle colline toscane. Le camere, molto spaziose, matrimoniali o triple con bagno e TV, sono luminose ed accoglienti, adatte anche per famiglie con bambini. Infine la bellissima taverna con cortile interno, un tempo laboratorio del farmacista del paese (lo speziale), con ancora intatte nicchie ed attrezzature, che ben si presta ad accogliere incontri per piccoli gruppi e quant’altro.

The Antica Casa Naldi is built on the foundations of a XIVcentury building, situated close to the walls and in the centre of the medieval village of Montecarlo which is on a hilltop in the Lucca area. The house, recently restored has tiled floors, stone walls, wooden beams and traditional furnishings. On the ground floor there is a beautiful kitchen with an ancient stone sink and fireplace at the guests’ disposal for breakfast and other meals; from a small terrace outside the kitchen there is access onto the walls of the village with a marvellous panoramic view of the Tuscan hills. The spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and television are bright and pleasant, suitable also for families with children. There is also the tavern with its own court-yard, once a local chemist’s laboratory (still conserving original niches in the wall and other features) which can be used for meetings and other gatherings. L’Antica Casa Naldi is a perfect place for you to discover the authentic Tuscany, living in a typical quiet village complete with its traditions but near the most important cities of the region including Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Siena.

Das Antica Casa Naldi liegt mit seinen Grundmauern aus dem 14. Jh., direkt an der Stadtmauer, im Zentrum der mittelalterlichen Ortschaft Montecarlo, die auf einem der schönsten Hügel der luccheser Landschaft thront. Das Haus ist im toskanischen Stile restauriert und bewahrt noch schöne, alte Cottoböden, Steinmauern und Balkendecken. Die Einrichtung aus Familienbesitz ist rustikal. Die großen Zimmer, ausgestattet mit Bad und TV, sind einladend und hell und eignen sich auch für Familien mit Kindern. Die schöne, gemauerte Küche mit offenem Kamin und antikem Stein-Spülbecken steht den Gästen von morgens bis abends zur Verfügung; von hier hat man über eine kleine Terrasse Zugang zu der Stadtmauer des Dorfes! Zum Schluß die antike Taverne, einst Labor des Drogeriemeisters des Ortes (genannt „lo speziale“), ein Raum für kleinere Versammlungen und anderes; von dort der Zugang zum zauberhaften Innenhof! Im Antica Casa Naldi kann man die wirkliche Toscana kennenlernen: das Leben in einem typischen, ruhigen Dorf mit seinen Tradizionen, in der Nähe der berühmtesten toskanischen Städte, wie Lucca, Florenz, Pisa und Siena.
